Læsø Rende Fyr

Læsø Rende Fyr first came into being in 1965

At only three meters deep water, 8 km from the West Coast, there is a 26 meter high steel stove with its characteristic helicopter landing spot at the top.

The cold winters are sometimes so violent that the lighthouse's door is covered by an almost impermeable layer of ice, therefore there is direct access through the lighthouse's top hatch.

It is necessary to warn the shipping company about the dwellings, but Læsø Rende Fyr came first in 1965. Until then, the seafarers were warned by a fireship that was stuck on the position
