Læsø is made for a cycling trip. The island is no bigger than a cycling trip around the island being doable in a day, while there is enough activities, attractions and nature to fill out an entire cycling holiday.

Cycle-friendly roads
On Læsø, it is possible to bike more than 100 km on asphalt roads without biking the same road twice. On top of that, you will find more than 240 km of so-called "green roads" - forest roads, field trails, mountain bike-friendly gravel roads and more.

A safe and family-friendly island
Læsø offers plenty of opportunity to cycle with your kids. From the western to the eastern end of Læsø, you will find - maybe - one of Denmark's most well-kept double-cycling lanes, and the smaller roads which criss-cross the island have a limited amount of traffic.

Challenges for (almost) everybody
Læsø is made for cycling. The island is flat as a pancake, with many great places shielded from the wind. With great asphalt roads, well-kept green roads, opportunities for pit stops along the way, and plenty of accommodation and shopping choices.
Læsø is - admittedly - not equipped with mountains or even steep hills, but the island does have almost everything else; for the racers, Læsø is equipped with more than 100 km of great asphalt roads, and you can find technical challenges around the way and interval training with the road's twists and turns. For the mountain-bikers, the island offers plenty of gravel- and dirt roads along its more than 180 km of green roads. And of course, there are plenty of opportunities for the standard bike, the electric bike and the city bikes.

Læsø byder også på rige muligheder for gravel- og mtb-folket med mere end 180 km grønne veje, og så er der ikke mindst rigtigt mange på ganske almindelige cykler, citybikes og elcykler, som nyder godt af at nyde Læsø på to hjul.
